There have been significant changes to the way students receive their education at the Shihiya School, School District No. 83 and post-secondary institutions. This is what the education department is doing.
The school is closed until September 2020 due to health and safety concerns surrounding COVID-19. Teachers continue to deliver weekly at-home learning packages to students until June 19. Occupational therapy and counselling will continue until June 19 as well. The Education Department will be looking into providing students additional supports throughout the summer.
