We have approximately 36 Elders in our community.

They attend Elder's meetings once a month, sharing information on Language, Culture, Traditional Boundries & Territories and Traditional Plants There are health workshops for them to attend (first aid, elders abuse, safety, etc.). Also they attend concerts, powwows and other events.

Also they attend other neighbouring informal Elder's meetings and gatherings, just spending time socializing and telling stories from days past.

There are planned field trips that they can participate in. (Traditional Boundries and Territories) a day fishing, berry picking or picking traditional fruits such as Indian Potatoes.

They have input in regards to events/activities in Enderby and the surrounding areas (Enderby Legion - support of mural of veterans, Enderby Mural and where involved in the community play with Enderby and the Band called "That's Not The Way I Heard It".
